Mangaluru: Sasikanth Senthil vacates DC bungalow, travels to Bengaluru

Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru (EP)

Mangaluru, Sep 10: Former deputy commissioner (DC) of Dakshina Kannada district, Sasikanth Senthil, who resigned for his IAS post all of a sudden, vacated DC bungalow on Sunday and travelled to Bengaluru.

Sasikanth Senthil, who resigned on Friday, did not meet anybody for the next two days. He arrived at the DC bungalow on Sunday and met his colleagues the whole day. It is said that he travelled to Bengaluru on Sunday night, met his friends in power there and held discussions with them.

Newly appointed DC of Mangaluru, Sindhu Rupesh, arrived at DC bungalow on Sunday itself.

Several people had urged Senthil to withdraw his resignation. But Senthil reportedly told them that he submitted his resignation to maintain his ideals and there was no question of withdrawing his resignation.

It would have been great if he had remained in the system and fight like Mr Khemka. One upright man is enough to keep the Dept on its toes.

Just 2 days since his resignation, sand lorries have started plying on the inner roads like Shivabag to join Pumpwell, early hours of the morning. This is a favorite road for law breakers like 3 people on 2 wheelers, drunkards in 4 wheelers, no helmet commuters and probably burglars too, quite a few burglaries too in Shivabag, this place is totally out of police surveillance.
