Bengaluru, Sep 6: Chief minister (CM), B S Yediyurappa, expressed shock over the resignation of Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Dakshina Kannada district Sasikanth Senthil on Friday, September 6.
Yediyurappa, who was taken aback at the news, inquired the reason behind his resignation. In addition, the CM gave instructions to the chief secretary of the state, Vijay Bhaskar, to know from Senthil with regards to any political pressure on him to resign.
CM has also directed the chief secretary to convince DC Senthil to take back his resignation.
Reacting to the news, Madhuswamy, law minister said, "I do not know anything about this matter. So I will not give any statement. I will wait and watch for the statements of the senior leadership of our party and give my view later."
