Bengaluru: DC Senthil resignation - CM Yediyurappa shocked, instructs to convince

Bengaluru, Sep 6: Chief minister (CM), B S Yediyurappa, expressed shock over the resignation of Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Dakshina Kannada district Sasikanth Senthil on Friday, September 6. 

Yediyurappa, who was taken aback at the news, inquired the reason behind his resignation. In addition, the CM gave instructions to the chief secretary of the state, Vijay Bhaskar, to know from Senthil with regards to any political pressure on him to resign.

CM has also directed the chief secretary to convince DC Senthil to take back his resignation.  

 

Reacting to the news, Madhuswamy, law minister said, "I do not know anything about this matter. So I will not give any statement. I will wait and watch for the statements of the senior leadership of our party and give my view later."

    Sincere and honest Officers are not required to our Govt. Corrupt Officers are given green pastures and honest Officers are thrown away . So naturally Officers feel dejected. If we read our news papers will come to know how many times the Officers are transferred in a year. Govt should bestow their interest to developmental activities in the state and not do like this.

    Shame on people act like no clue what is happening.. politicians are the worst enemy of ordinary citizens of this globe. People has to come up with a plan to replace political influence over respected citizens and suspend them permanently to be in politics of any party. My worst enemy is politicians regardless of any party.

    Resignation from Civil Officers indicates that there is something going against the Democracy from current Rulers. Better to study the matter properly before the tragedy happens. Why only now.....big question to the current Rulers....

    It is good to observe your anxiety over the resignation from service by D.C. Senthil. As chief Minister it is expedient that you hold an inquiry and then assure Mr. Senthil of your support. If The D.C. is aggrieved over any situation, it is in your power to set matters right.

    It is my sincere thought and wish that Mr. Senthil reconsiders his move and withdraws his resignation from service.

    Thank very much for your sympathy upon honest D C. But very sorry at the moment Mr.Yediyurappa because ,RSS ನ secret agenda ಕ್ಕೆ ಸದ್ಯ ಬಿಜೆಪಿಗೆ ಮನ ಶುದ್ದಿಯಾಗಿರುವ ನೀವು ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಾಮಾಣಿಕ D C..ಬೇಡವಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ..though you"re a chief minister RSS & BJP keeps all secret from you...😢😢

    Sasikanth Senthil, an administrative officer of Tamilnad origin. Be it be administration ,Police or any profession TN people work with full dedication, without corruption.They are strict with people, but they have concern over society.

    The respected Official has mentioned it is his personal reasons that have prompted him to rsign. The action of the senior IAS officer need to be suitably respected. No person has a right in his official capacity to 'direct' a withdrawal. It may be alright if close people can suggest and advise a better course cordially. It is again placing him under more pressure. The matter would not be normally a rash move and it would have been thought out and consulted on suitably for sure. Let us wish our great DC all good and support his wishes. Thanks.

    I know About Sasikanth senthil's will. He had lots of plans pertaining to development of tourism and infrastructure of Mangalore city/Dakshina kannada. But his will's were not supported by the successive governments.Mangalore is only one major Tier-2 city which has not seen any development in public front since couple of years. Last achievement was only inauguration of India's first 3D planetarium. No other developments industrially, tourism..nothing...Improve backwater tourism in Mangalore. There is lot of scope for it in Mangalore.
