Bantwal, Sep 5: Bantwal taluk Kavalapadoor Vagga pre-university college high school division vice principal, English language teacher Shaikh Adam Saheb Nelyadi has been selected for best state level teacher award this year.
He is working as headmaster and teacher since the last twenty years. He has implemented several programmes in the schools taught by him for the all-round progress of schools and children and has received several awards.
He is a post graduate degree holder in English language and started his teaching career in 1998 in Gurukambala A K U girl’s PU College as English professor. He has served at Vagga high school as English language teacher since 2004 and headmaster since 2012.
He has conducted several programmes for children such as scholarships, zonal Pratibha Karanji, games, school silver jubilee, district level Pratibha Karanji, taluk level scouts and guides rally, health camp etc.
The school has received district level environment friend award, yellow school award, orange school award, achieved 100% result in SSLC in 2016 and 2019, best achievement award from education department, best teacher award from education minister’s office, best English teacher award and several other awards.
He has constructed with the help of donors toilets, interlock, installed CC camera, provided purified drinking water, built compound wall, got the building painted, dug bore well, Solar lighting smart class, sound system, extension of auditorium, napkin burner for girl’s toilet, best library, garden and achieved all round progress in the government high school.
