UAE, Aug 3: An Arab woman stood trial at the Fujairah Misdemeanour Court for misbehaving and insulting the wife of her ex-husband.
As per Khaleej Times report, the defendant lost custody of her children when they moved to their father's house, where his second wife was staying. The incident took place when the defendant went to a hospital, where her daughter was admitted. As per report, the second wife did not allow the defendant to touch her daughter.
The defendant fumed over the complainant's action and told her "May you lose someone dear to you as you deprive me of my kids."
The wife took it as an offensive statement and filed a complaint at the Fujairah Police. However, the defendant said that she was struggling through tough circumstances and the second wife's irritating attitude made her angry.
