Shivamogga, Sep 2: "The language that is used by former CM Siddaramaiah against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and chief minister B S Yediyurappa is not right. I also know to use abusive language. I am keeping quiet because of the fact that Siddaramaiah was the former CM. Otherwise, I too would have used filthy language against him. However, I am just controlling myself," said minister for rural development K S Eshwarappa.
Speaking to the reporters, Eshwarappa further said, "I plead with Siddaramaiah to use criticism when he is in the opposition. But it is not right to criticize PM and CM personally."
"Siddaramaiah says that Narendra Modi is a communal person and murderer. He uses cheap word like 'Boss of Lies' (Sullina Saradara) for Modi. He ridicules Yediyurappa and says that Yediyurappa should be ashamed to wear the green shawl. Siddaramaiah's language is not correct. It is not right to use sub-standard words and language against a person like Prime Minister Modi, whom the whole world revers. Siddaramaiah should not forget that Yediyurappa was the leaders of farmers and has come up to the present level for fighting for the farmers," said Eshwarappa.
Minister Eshwarappa concluded by saying, "Large scale destruction has taken place in the state due to the recent deluge. Our government is giving relief to the victims of the flood on a scale that was not done by any previous government. We expect Prime Minister Modi to grant funds, which will be beyond our expectations. We will get maximum grant from the center. No one should play politics with respect to the relief work of the deluge affected victims."
