Mysuru, Aug 29: Ever since B S Yediyurappa became the chief minister, several instances where his relatives are reportedly showing high-handedness are being reported in media.
On Thursday afternoon, Yediyurappa’s sister’s son Rajesh allegedly spoke in a rude manner to senior police officials after they did not allow the activists accompanying him to visit the chief minister.
Yediyurappa had visited the Chamundi Hills in Mysuru on August 29. His nephew Rajesh accompanied by activists had come to meet him. However, the ACP and DCP did not allow the activists inside.
The police told Rajesh that in view of CM’s protocol and security, people in large numbers cannot be allowed to visit him. This upset Rajesh, who reportedly threw a tantrum and demanded that the activists are allowed inside.
A video of Rajesh threatening to transfer the ACP and DCP is doing rounds on social media platforms. The police are seen looking at him helplessly. A tense situation prevailed at Chamundi Hills after the incident.
