Mysuru, Aug 29: "We have kept our word on Kashmir issue. In the coming days, we will build Ram Mandir at Ayodhya," asserted newly inducted state BJP president and MP, Nalin Kumar Kateel.
Kateel was speaking at a meeting organized at the BJP office here on Wednesday August 28 to congratulate him on his elevation. He said that Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, and party's national president, Amit Shah, have reposed faith on his abilities and chose him to lead the party in Karnataka. He also said that he has the blessings of chief minister, B S Yediyurappa.
Nalin hailed the bold step taken on Kashmir issue by the Union government. He pointed out at the development works being undertaken by the Prime Minister and home minister. "These things have earned the trust of the people in the BJP. BJP is the only party that has been keeping its words," he stated.
Nalin said that when Yediyurappa was the chief minister last time, he had implemented several welfare schemes like Bhagyalaxmi, Sandhya Suraksha, Krishi Bhagya etc and he had presented a separate budget for the farmers. With the return of Yediyurappa at the helm, Karnataka will turn into welfare state, he stressed.
Nalin said that henceforth, elections will be held on the basis of party workers, not on the basis of what future holds, or leadership issues. Therefore, he told the party workers that the responsibility of building the party from grass root level rests solely on them.
He said he has paid obeisance at Chamundi temple and was blessed by Pejawar Swamiji and Suttur Swamiji.
