Bengaluru, Aug 28: Former chief minister Siddaramaiah, who on Monday had predicted that Yediyurappa-led BJP government in the state would not last even a year, fired more salvos at the saffron party on Tuesday, mocking it and its leaders.
He felt that making a person who is not a current MLA and who had watched porn in the house in the past, a deputy minister, depicts intellectual bankruptcy of B JP. He also noted that seniority has not been given any weightage when distributing portfolios. He was speaking to media persons at Bagalkot on Tuesday.

He also lampooned at Yediyurappa by tweeting that in spite of being a political adversary, he feels a sense of compassion for the chief minister at the insult, injustice and sorrows heaped on him. He also said in a series of tweets that he feels pity for Yediyurappa because of the attempts being made to assign him to a corner.
Siddaramaiah noted that Jagadish Shettar was the chief minister, while R Ashok and K S Eshwarappa had functioned in the past as deputy chief ministers. He wondered why these people were overlooked and the post of the deputy chief minister was given to Laxman Savadi, who is not even a MLA. He also criticized BJP leaders for making Govind Karjol, who was earlier in the Janatadal, a deputy chief minister although he was not a BJP stalwart. He said that because of these wrongs, it is but natural that the party men would be angry.
Siddaramaiah said that the BJP was not interested in making Yediyurappa the chief minister and they wanted to go for election. He added that Yediuyurappa became chief minister by pleading with the party high command.
