Mangaluru Aug 22: "I have never desired or nursed any expectations for getting this post. The party high command has reposed faith in me and given me the post of state BJP president, which i will accept as an additional responsibility," said newly appointed Karnataka state BJP president, Nalin Kumar Kateel.
He paid a visit to the district BJP office here on Wednesday August 21. During this visit, Nalin Kumar Kateel said that since his initial days, he has been a committed representative of Sangh Parivar, adding that the path he treaded was thorny but backed by clear vision. "I have swum through the turbulent times when challenges came to my way and have been able to reach thus far. I have come up by following the ideology of the Sangh Parivar and never desired for any kind of position or post. With the sole vision of always upholding our country's honour and glory, I have always been actively involved with the Sangh Parivar," he clarified.
He also said that as per the guidance of seniors he was actively involved with the activities of Sangh Parivar. "It was the high command which asked me to contest the election, and I obeyed their command. Now they have appointed me as state president of BJP which I will accept as an immense responsibility. My organization has solidly backed me in achieving my growth. Party representatives are my god, party office is like a temple for me," he added.
Nalin stressed that he would never defame any of his seniors or the party ideologies. He asserted that he would work honestly and obediently for the progress of the party.
