Mangaluru, Aug 20: Member of Parliament (MP), Nalin Kumar Kateel, has been appointed as state BJP president with immediate effect. 

Arun Singh, national general secretary, BJP, sent this communication on August 20. 

B S Yediyurappa hitherto served as BJP president in the state. After he became the chief minister, he held both the posts. Today Yediyurappa formed 17-member cabinet. 

 

Nalin Kumar is three-time MP from Dakshina Kannada.
