Abu Dhabi, Aug 20: If you have a habit of forward-parking, you might need to reconsider. Abu Dhabi police are recommending drivers around the city to follow reverse parking.
Reverse parking is safe because it prevents accidents against children to a great extent.
The police shared a video displaying the pros of reverse parking. An SUV is shown reversing its way out of the parking in a villa when two children creep up behind the car, endangering their lives.
The police also advised the elders of the family to stay alert around the parking space when the children are playing. They warned the drivers against the use of mobile phones while behind the wheel as it causes distraction.
