Karwar: Inebriated youths create ruckus in front of bar, arrested

Karwar, Aug 18: In an incident that occurred in the city, some inebriated youths created ruckus in front of a bar and restaurant. 

This incident took place near Ratna's Holidays Restaurant but has come to light only of late. The youths threw stones and broke the windshield of a car. They even attacked the staff of the bar. The whole act was captured on CCTV. 

It is learnt that Sameer Naika and Amogha are the youths who created this ruckus. Bar manager Santhosh has filed a case in this regard in the city police station. 

The police arrested the culprits on Sunday, August 18.

    Recently police in Kolkata have arrested the son of BJP’s Rajya Sabha MP Roopa Ganguly (she is best known for her rendition of Draupadi in B R Chopra's hit television series Mahabharat)after his black sedan crashed into a wall in South Kolkata. 20-year-old was allegedly under the influence of alcohol when the accident took place. He was alone in the car at the time of the accident.
