Kadaba, Aut 17: A complaint was filed in the police station here relating to objectionable post and messages posted in social websites against Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi, and chief minister (CM) B S Yeddyurappa. The complaint named Mahesh, an employee of the survey office here, as the offender.
In his complaint, Venkataramna Kodimbala, general secretary of Kadaba taluk Hindu Jagran Vedike, had filed the said complaint in the police station. He mentioned in the complaint that the accused has been posting contemptuous and derogatory messages against RSS, PM and the CM since the last many days in his Facebook and WhatsApp accounts. The complainant pointed out that Mahesh has violated service rules and regulations of the government and therefore demanded to dismiss him from service and to subject him to legal action.
The police have taken Mahesh into custody and are questioning him.
Venkataramana Kodimbalal has warned that if the police fail to invoke strong provisions of law and initiate stern action against the accused, taluk level bandh would be organized by way of protest.
