Mangalurean Selvin D’Souza to participate in Mrs India Worldwide

Mangaluru, Aug 17: Selvin D’Souza, a Mangalurean, is all set to participate in the 4th Mrs India Worldwide pageant to be held on September 7 at the Grand Ballroom of The Leela Hotel, Mumbai. She will be representing Costa Rica in the international pageant.

Selvin was born and raised in Mannagudda in the city. She is the youngest daughter of late Vincent D’Souza and Monica D’Souza.

She has worked for IT companies in Bengaluru such as IBM, Microsoft and NetApp. She currently lives with her Husband John Peter Fernandes in San Jose, Costa Rica.

She thrives to help elder people in old age homes and plans to come with projects that help her cause.

Mrs India Worldwide pageant is produced by the IFC, based in New York City. The IFC is a pioneer organization in conducting Indian Pageants and fashion shows in the USA and worldwide. In 2016, Dharmatma Saran, chairman and founder of Miss India Worldwide introduced Mrs India Worldwide.

The Worldwide pageant has been conducting Miss India USA for the last thirty eight years and Miss India Worldwide for the last twenty seven years. Many past pageants have achieved stardom in Indian and American movies, television and modeling world. They are expecting a good number of Bollywood producers/directors/actors as judges/guests.

All contestants are of Indian origin, of any age, and are citizens, residents, or born in the country which they represent.

Mrs India Worldwide aims to create and empower role models who will serve as ambassadors to charity, enrich the perceptions to beauty, and enhance a new strength, energy and spirit for the advancement of Indian women while positively impacting their communities in their respective countries.
