CM Pramod Sawant promises full-fledged infra in Goa in 2 years

Panaji, Aug 16: Chief minister Pramod Sawant, during his Independence Day speech on Thursday, has promised a full-fledged infra in Goa within 2 years. Crediting former chief minister Manohar Parrikar for starting the ongoing infrastructure projects across the state, the CM said, all the ongoing infrastructure projects, once completed will propel Goa’s growth and ensure that the state plays a part in India’s progress.

Some of the major infrastructure projects in state include, the Zuari cable-stayed bridge, Atal Setu over the Mandovi, four and six-laning of the national highways across the state, and the International Airport at Mopa.

As per TOI report, Sawant said “As the chief minister, I am the main servant of the state and along with me the other officers, the government servants are here to serve the people. It is very important to remember this.”

The Chief minister also thanked rescue workers, relief workers, disaster management volunteers, who gave their helping hand during the recent floods that inundated several villages in North Goa.
