Mumbai, Jan 20: The Economic Times organized a conference titled ‘Consilience 2009 – Profit from IT: The SME Growth Catalyst,’ on Friday June 19, at Hotel Hyatt Regency, Sahar, Andheri (East), here.
 
The Economic Times resident editor Bodhisatva Ganguli welcomed the gathering while Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) CEO designate N Chandrasekaran delivered the introductory address.  Harvard Business School Professor Nitin Nohria delivered the key note address.
 

Crisil CEO and MD Roopa Kudva, Rayan International Group managing director Grace Pinto, Kaya Skin Clinic CEO Rakesh Pandey and Birla Life CEO Kanwar Vivek were present at the dais. 
 
Katmac Electronics Private Limited chairman Mukund Mulye, Chedda Electronics MD Vijay Chedda and other entrepreneurs Mazyar Kotwal, Venguswamy Ramaswamy, Sahana Sharma, Arun Gupta, Alok Singh, Nagaraj G, Pinakiranjan Mishra, Girish Krishnamurti, Subasish Saha, Abijit Ranade, C N Ram, E A Elias, Varun Singh and others presented their papers on the ‘Role of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in future of competitive India: Can Indian SMEs compete globally?’.  Panel discussions were also held on demand generation in the global supply chain.
