Mangaluru, Aug 15: Dengue fever claimed another life in Dakshina Kannada district on Wednesday August 14. With this, the number of deaths due to suspected dengue in the district has crossed ten.
Ganesh Karkera (35) from Jeppu Patna here lost his battle for life on account of the said disease. He was admitted into a private hospital in the city on August 13 for treatment of suspected dengue. But without responding to treatment, he breathed his last on Wednesday morning. The private hospital doctors attributed his death to suspected dengue.
Ganesh was employed in the office of Sagar Travels at Jeppu. He also was a member of Goddess Adimaheshwari Bhajana Mandir at Jeppu.
