‘A History of Kannadigas in Mumbai' Book to Be Released on Jun 20

Mumbai, Jun 18: A ceremony to release ‘A history of Kannadigas in Mumbai,’ a book authored by Dr Geetanjali Salian, will be held at 4.30 pm on Saturday June 20, at Sri Narayan Guru Auditorium, Billava Bhavan, Santacruz (East) here.
 
Supreme Court former judge Justice B N Krishna will be the chief guest of the occasion.
 
The programme will be presided over by Billava Association president Jaya C Suvarna.
 
‘Akshaya’ Kannada magazine honorary editor M B Kuckian, Mumbai University Professor emeritus and former head of the department of history Dr M D David, writers Dr Vishwanath Karnad and Dr Sunita Shetty will be the guests of honour.
 
Billava Association and local committee members will stage an entertainment programme after the book release ceremony.
