Mumbai, August 9: Chief minister Devendra Fadnavis, Shivsena and NCP have called off their planned yatras in the state.
Shiv Sena president Uddav Thakeray has said that they will visit flood affected areas in the next two days after assessing the situation. He said that health camps will be organized in the flood affected areas.
Sena MPs, MLAs and corporators will be donating a month’s salary for relief works.
A collection centre is opened at its party headquarters in Dadar for non perishable food items and dry snacks for distribution in flood affected areas.
Sharad Pawar, NCP chief has said that Shiv Swarajya Yatra is called off for the time being.
