Mangaluru, Aug 4: After the grand success of 'Mojho Tallo Gaitalo’, the Konkani singing TV reality show, now Daijiworld 24x7 TV is all set to come up with ‘MTG- Gulf Edition’ shortly. 

Hundreds of emerging talents who reside in Gulf countries missed the opportunity to participate in 'Mojho Tallo Gaitalo – Season 1’ and accordingly there was a demand for an all-exclusive season only for Gulf-based Mangaluru residents to perform. After realizing this, the channel and local organisers came up with the idea of ‘MTG- Gulf Edition’. The show is open to all Konkani speaking singers who reside in UAE, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Qatar. The auditions will be held in Kuwait, UAE, Qatar and Oman under the patronage of local community organizations of Mangalore origin. The winners of various reality shows, held in gulf region are also eligible to enroll for the auditions. The show is completely dedicated to the songs of legend late Wilfy Rebimbus. 

The preparation for the new reality show is already in progress and the audition dates will be announced soon. With all probability, the auditions will be held in September, October and November later this year. As part of Daijiworld24x7 TV, Steevan Misquith, Linette D’Souza and Kiran Gonsalves residing in Kuwait will coordinate the entire event along with Alexis Castelino. Once the venues are confirmed for the auditions, the rules and regulations for the participants will be announced. 

'Mojho Tallo Gaitalo’ which was telecasted on Daijiworld24x7 TV successfully set a benchmark in Konkani entertainment history. ‘MTG- Gulf Edition’, will be a golden opportunity for budding singers who reside in Gulf countries.
