Bengaluru, Aug 3: Disqualified Congress MLA Roshan Baig visited Karnataka chief minister B S Yediyurappa at his residence on Saturday, August 3.
According to sources, Baig in the meeting claimed that he resigned from the MLA’s seat in Shivajinagar for Yediyurappa. “I am being called repeatedly by Special Investigation Team (SIT) for questioning and they are harassing me. Therefore, you alone should save me from these troubles,” Baig reportedly told Yediyurappa.

SIT had taken Baig into custody in the airport when he was going to Pune, in an attempt to avoid the questioning. However, he was later released. SIT had thrice issued notices to him, asking him to appear for questioning. It is said that Roshan Baig has now pinned his hopes on CM Yediyurappa.
