Mangaluru: Siddhartha Hegde death - Provisional postmortem report submitted

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (SP)

Mangaluru, Aug 3: Provisional postmortem report of the mortal remains of Cafe Coffee Day founder, Siddhartha Hegde, has said that his death occurred due to respiratory blockage caused by drowning. The report was submitted by Dr Rajeshwari Devi, superintendent of the district Wenlock Hospital here to city (south) assistant commissioner of police, Kodandarama, who happens to be the investigating officer of the case, on Friday August 2.

The confidentiality of the report has been maintained. It is learnt that no other reasons have been attributed to Siddhartha's death at this stage. Hospital sources said that the report has mentioned that all other details relating to the death would be mentioned in the final report.

The body of Siddhartha had been handed over to his family members after conducting postmortem at Wenlock Hospital's mortuary on July 31. The postmortem was performed by Dr Pratheek Rustogi, forensic expert of KMC Hospital, and Dr Rashmi of forensic science department of Wenlock Hospital. Viscera of the body had been sent to forensic laboratory at Davanagere for testing as suspicions and rumours about the suspicious circumstances under which Siddhartha died surfaced.

Police sources said that on the face of it, Siddhartha appears to have committed suicide. However, the provisional report has not gone into detailed analysis about the death of Siddhartha. The final report would be prepared after report from the forensic science laboratory at Davanagere is received. The provisional report mentions that reason for the death would be mentioned in the final report thereafter.

Viscera of different parts of the body were sent to the forensic science laboratory at Davanagere, and it might take about ten days to get report from there, sources stated.

Most-suspicious driver took 1.5 hrs to reach Netravathi Bridge from Brahmarakotlu toll plaza. Normally takes max 25 mins by car.

T-shirt missing. Was neither found in bridge nor on body. It’s impossible for a dead man to get rid of it.

Wallet was intact but crucial mobile phone missing from the tight jeans.

No calls recorded after Brahmarakotlu. Assuming car reached pumpwell circle, did it proceed to Mlr or go to Kerala or to Udupi?

In last briefing cops mentioned & multiple media channels too reported independently that some other vehicle picked him-up near Mlr. Who were the people? Why is driver silent?

Why have the cops withheld call data records? Who are all the MOST-POWERFUL MEN INVOLVED?

A day after the body found (or dumped) at 6 AM in the Hoige Bazaar, Mangaluru Commissioner of Police Sandeep Patil gets transferred with immediate effect!

Siddhartha took loans of 100s of crores from all sorts of shady-corrupt people, notorious pvt equity investors & crooked politicians, not just DKS. Mega financials were extremely messy after cultivating many enemies.

The body did not have most common symptoms of drowning/asphyxiation. None of the limbs/muscles were raptured or had any trauma, the body/brain was not even bloated as is norm.

Netravathi river is flooded with monsoon water flowing at a very fast pace through tons of debris & extremely sharp rocks. Body found almost 9 kms away from Bridge, yet did not have a single scratch. Also the nose was surprisingly/suspiciously bleeding, despite more than 24 hrs after alleged ‘jumped-off-bridge’ incident.

Siddhartha’s last 12 hrs was extremely unusual. Driver (only 3 years in service unlike previous driver) is oddly the only source (strangely not even a witness), why was he not interrogated comprehensively?

Has the family too preferred to hush-up the intricacies of the case? No FIR? Why post-mortem report repeatedly delayed? Possibly altered?

Truth of super-rich/most-powerful is seldom revealed. RIP Siddhartha!

Why and how he jumped to the river decide the fate of the incident and not only on the condition of the dead body found.

A good entrepreneur lost for India.

Reason clear that he had loan and income not enough to repay the loan.

If a beginner goes to Govt or bank for loan they need 3 years income tax return. If not money to start business from where to give 3 years income tax return. Govt. loans are there they need 3 years income tax return files.

If a entrepreneur succeeds in his business it is his hard work. If he has money Govt can tell him to pay tax for that money. Govt ceasing all accounts and money and documents may be wrong. It is not stolen or cheated money.

If entrepreneur has unaccounted money Govt will cease if entrepreneur suffers loss whether Govt will help him to come up. Exactly no.

One good friend of mine asked me to search a maid. I found one and she told 8 to 4.00 she will come and she has had to pay her 700 per day with food and bus fare.
This is today salary for servants. This is full earning . IF there are 3 members in the family all three will earn means more than 60000. Where they pay tax. Whether they have accounts. 25% of it will go for alchohol. Same people will get bhagyas houses and scholarship from the Govt.

As pressure mounted from all quarters to repay money and to save at least back to family members may be taken such decision. Even might have afraid will land in jail if amount not returned from where he taken loan. Almost it is confirmed he drowned himself and not due to involvement of others. As he studied in mangalore..river known him much. Instead of going anywhere better jump from above is easier. He created wrong impression on youngsters if fail in life just commit suicide. At least he agreed not an good entrepreneur. Only he knows the truth.
