Nigerian arrested for possession of illegal drugs worth Rs 2.7 lac

Panaji, Jul 28: Anti-narcotic cell of Panaji were in successful in apprehending a 43-year-old Nigerian national. The accused, Nigerian national was arrested for possessing cocaine and MDMA worth Rs 2.7 lac on Friday.

According to sources, the raid was conducted around 11.40 pm and 1.40 am on late Friday night. The Nigerian national was arrested in a room he was staying on rent.

The accused has been identified as Chukwadi Oformata, officials have registered a case against him and investigation is underway.
