Puttur, Jun 8: In an incident that occurred at Narimogru village in the taluk, a middle-aged man accidentally slipped and fell into a tank located in a plantation on Sunday May 7. He drowned and lost his life in the incident.

Deranna Rai (55), a resident of Alake in Narimogru village slipped while washing his hands and legs in a tank located near his home. Puttur town policemen have registered a case.
