Riyadh, Jul 22: An entire incident where a man tried to snatch-and-grab was recorded on CCTV. When a Saudi woman was walking near Al Shifa area of Riyadh, a white saloon car with dark tint approached her, after which the driver of the car leaned out of the window and tried to grab her bag. The man used brute force to snatch the victim's bag causing her to lose balance and fall on the ground.
By Saturday, the incident was uploaded on social networking sites and soon went viral. The residents of the city were outraged and stressed the police officials to put the accused behind bars.
The Department of Security Patrols in Riyadh, were able to identify the suspect and arrest him. Following the violence, the victim was reported to have sustained bruises and minor injuries from the fall.
