Moodbidri: Will shape Dakshina Kannada into top district in next five years – MP Nalin

Moodbidri, Jul 2: "Corruption is the other name of the Congress. By ridding Dakshina Kannada of the Congress, we have rooted out corruption from the district. During the last five years, BJP has registered impressive victories in local administration, assembly, and Lok Sabha elections. Our activists should make an honest efforts to make the people abreast of the functioning of the central government. We will shape Dakshina Kannada district into the top district in the entire state in the next five years," said MP Nalin Kumar Kateel.

He was speaking after accepting felicitation arranged to him on his third straight win in Lok Sabha election. On this occasion, arranged at Padmavathi auditorium here on Sunday, representatives elected to Mulky town panchayat and Moodbidri municipality were also feted.

MLA Umanath Kotian inaugurated the programme, Ishwae Kateel, BJP Mandal president, presided. BJP district general secretary, Sudarshan M, delivered congratulatory address. Zilla panchayat vice president, Kasturi Panja, member,K P Sucharita Shetty, BJP Dakshina Kannada district vice president, K P Jagadish Adhikari and others were present. Mandal vice president, Leela Banjan, proposed vote of thanks.

    After 'Pub attacks' and 'Morning mist' attacks district Dakshina Kannada becomes famous for moral police recognized in the world.

    The Mangalore district has two ministers in the Central government of BJP. The party is ruling since 1992 for 25 long years.

    Let the BJP name five major projects from Mangalore in this period.

    A pledge for getting rid of Congress is anti-democratic. Because a ruling party should not eliminate opposition, it should reply the questions raised by the opposition. Further, whether to eliminate Congress or not is decided by people. If people decide, it will definitely be done. If not, the ruling party MPs will lose their respect by pronouncing such pledges in the public.

    you have an golden opportunity to regain the confidence of your constituency if you are really interested in working on public issues kindly reciprocate to them immediately.If you had completed the Pump well circle, you would have got extra2.0 lakhs votes this time.
    Udupi-Mangalorean public themselves have developed/Built the city by working abroad/ out of the city / having Own business since job opportunities for us are very limited in our local area and also in government openings.

    If some one looks at the flyover, the first impression he gets will be, its a history.
    Everyone has an intention to make our DK as top District,
    You had good 10 years to do so, What restricted you to do so.
    Lets not accuse congress and Nehru for our shortcomings.
    As you said, 'Corruption is another name of Congress' Please visit periodically, our public civil bodies. RTA, Police Depts, Panchayats, Electricity Boards, Village bodies, you will know whether the corruption is rooted out or not. One can see the fate of the poor people who are taken for granted in all these departments.
    Before doing DK into top District, please take time to visit some other districts in India, where you will have the better knowledge.
    Fire and Dollars will not take our District on top, its the will of the politicians and the people in authority show effective leadership.
    First see that there is proper water, power, education, health, transport and law & order in the district. Once this is attended, we don't need to be boasted of our DK district, People from other districts will start boasting of us.
    Blaming 70 years and Nehru, Gandhi and Congress will not do any good.
