Bengaluru: MP Shobha wants police special squad to protect cattle

Bengaluru, Jul 1: Udupi-Chikkamagaluru Member of Parliament Shobha Karandlaje has demanded that Karnataka police should form a special squad to prevent cattle thefts.

She was speaking to reporters on Monday, July 1.

However she said that one should not take law into hands while protecting cattle.

“Cattle are being transported in small cars and some of them die during transportation. The state government is not taking action in this connection. It has remained indifferent,” she alleged.

“The village stay of chief minister is only a drama. Those who are arriving with their petitions are being lathi-charged. The chief minister is doing this to divert the minds of people,” she said.

    First try and provide security to our young girls in Mangalore. Girls are stabbed and kidnapped. Dont worry about cows, every Mangalorean cares for every animal. It is our cultture. Please do not try to waste your time on this subject. Please visit UP and see whats happening to cows there even in gowshalas.

    In continuation of the above : Prem Kumar, Ask your politicians to spend money on dese animals, give them food and shelter instead accumlating Property in deir name. Ones u r successful, then blame other communitis for robbing, eating n lynching. Wen v r at fault and only scream cow, cow other comunitis point at us. We only encourage other comunity ppl because of our duble std. Some states just take the oxes during ploughing time. Rest of the time for so many months abandon on the road. Some even take cows only in the evenings for milking after that leave them on the road. They eat all rubbish, dirty, rotten things available on the road. Don't show your "FAKE CONCERN"

    Premkumar stop screaming like pistol, survey, ngraving the number on cattles, digital making etc... We worship nandi in our temples in d form of statues. V put them garland, pray der . V kp our fingers on its ears and thru the gap inbetween our fingers v see our god Shiva. And when our go mata gives birth to a real nandi, v abandon nandus on the road deprived the calfs of mothers milk also. Y we pray stone nandi at temple? Those nandis (bulls) not our god? Because people beat, torture, illtreat those, bulls they become arrogant and wild. They too behave on the road how v behave wd dem? They pushed the vehicles, hit the innocent people who are walking. They learn from us

    Shobhkkas Hindi in parliament was too good, what an hindi she must be given a award for that. she was trying to impress Modi and shah that she is from karnataka and can speak hindi fluently so there is no problem to impoe hindi in our state.

    I too watched. It looks like Goa. Players are really having fun with that cow. Finally, cow only grabbed the ball and kept with it. I don't understand why cows are left abandoned anywhere and everywhere?

    In my childhood we had a 'Sindhi' Cow....she was allowing only my mother to milk her....

    Once I tried....She played 'foot ball' with me ...gave a 'kick' by her rear leg....'Chembu' fell 6 feet away....Also she beat me up with her tail....Never dared to try it again!!...

    Shobakka and Yeddi have so much money - looted from Kannadigas over the years - they can support
    a brigade of men per Panchayat or city/town - Shobakka dear please don't pass this burdensome expense of Cow Brigade to the poor - we have hardly enough for ONE meal per day - cows will eat
    24 hours a day with your plan!
    Let that Black Money pay the Cow Expense Shobakka!????

    Ha ha ha. This is milking the cow issue a bit too much. In foreign countries they microchip the pets to find who the animals belong to. We should go one step further and invent a way to track the whereabouts of these animals in a cost effective way. It is a good project for our IT Entrepreneurs.

    AnYonemous mangalore in foreign countries not only pets but cows ,goats or except cats (Few with )horse etc are having to ear marks to identify later when claim comes even in market.One is now behind cow second will come with bow bow.All ministers will have a task of looking after each animal .First of all there are not enough police personal when crimes happen,,and robbery .Now she is asking for cows.left police will be there to protect her and ministers.what a job opportunity for BJP members.I am impressed.Chai und pakodas are not available in future.Gomutra may be.

    There must be special aur conditioned sheds for cows. Top class restaurant for cows must be opened. Entertainment centres for cows are a must. Health care and educational facilities for cows should be the main priority. Parks and playgrounds for better physical health of cows along with hi-tech multi speciality hospitals should also be started at the earliest. Libraries for cows and holiday trips for them will also be appreciated. Hoping our dear MP will implement all this soon.

    We don't mind if Jacuzzi , Steam Bath, Zumba and Yoga also included under Physical health option.
    Dietitians and Nutritionists for the cows also is a must. Train the bulls also to treat the cows gently.
    otherwise all the tax payers money like ....poured into "homa kundam"
    and all Human beings should chant "devare....neeve namma samrakshaka, nammannu kaapaadiri!"

    Don't give big big talks. Implement at least one. Let's see. Before that, protect and save all the cows and bulls which r left abandoned on the road with d excuse of old, not yielding milk, handicapped, cannot conceive etc.etc. depute jawaners along with your leadership right from Kashmir to south.. Himachal there are plenty of abandoned cows and Goa too.. Seen in my own eyes. Only putting in writing here. Go have pity on them. There people beat abandoned bulls, cows like anything if they stand in front of your gate 4 water also . Go train those people. Get success in this first. Then think of digitaising the cattle.l

    We need to first take census to find out how many cattles are available at each home. Latter on we give job for our jaavanre to include them in police squad to protect cattles. We should give first preference to those things which cannot do one's protection. Latter on one more squad to do look people who involved in love jehad.
