Bengaluru, Jun 30: JD (S) supremo and former Prime Minister Deve Gowda expressed his rage against the BJP leaders who are criticizing the foreign tour of chief minister (CM) H D Kumaraswamy. He questioned whether the CM had to seek permission from Yeddyurappa and Eshwarappa before going to USA.
Speaking to media, Deve Gowda said, "Is there any need of seeking permission from Yeddyurappa and Eshwarappa to go abroad? The CM has gone to attend the programme of Adichunchanagiri Math, which belongs to our society. The CM has not gone abroad on anyone's expense. Is it right to say that the CM should not go for such functions? Is it fair to speak in such fashion from morning till evening?"

CM Kumaraswamy has left for New Jersey in USA to partake in different programmes and has been accorded a cordial welcome there. He will be in USA for a week. He will partake in the Vokkaliga Parishad conference that is scheduled to take place on July 4. He will return to Bengaluru on July 7, quoted sources.
The CM's office has already given a publication that this tour of the chief minister is completely a personal one and the government is not paying any expenses.
