Bengaluru, Jun 30: "Minister Zameer Ahmed had sold the site, the matter which is sub judice, to IMA CEO Mansoor Khan and Zameer received Rs 80 crore in black money," accused N R Ramesh, BJP spokesperson.
Ramesh was speaking in a press conference that was held in the city.
He further said, "The 38 and 39 number sites, located at the Serpentine Road of Richmond Town, measuring 14,984 square feet were sold by Zameer Ahmed to Mansoor Khan. In the sale deed only an amount of Rs 9.38 crore is shown. Rest amount of Rs 80 crore was collected by Zameer in black from Mansoor. A high level inquiry has to be conducted in this regard."

In retaliation to the accusation of Ramesh, minister Zameer Ahmed said, "I have sold my personal property according to the law. But I feel sorry that I have sold that to a person like Mansoor Khan. Investigation by the SIT is on. ED has served me a notice. I will provide proper documents for that also. Let BJP do not politicize this issue. I have not looted the state treasury. When BJP was in power, 11 people, including the chief minister had gone to prison on the accusations of corruption. I need not learn morality from these people. If I have given false declaration, there are concerned people to look into the same."
Meanwhile, SIT sleuths conducted raid on Frontline Pharma and a perfume store that belonged to IMA group of companies and have confiscated goods worth crores of rupees.
Speaking on the issue, DCM Parameshwara, said, "ED has given just a notice to minister Zameer Ahmed in the IMA scam. Zameer Ahmed will reply to the notice. Earlier many BJP leaders, including Yeddyurappa were served notices."
