Kundapur, Jun 28: Protest was held here, on Friday, June 28, in the leadership of Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal condemning repeated thefts and slaughter of cattle.
“The illegal transport of cattle hurts the religious sentiments of Hindus and gives rise to religious hatred. It is unfortunate that thefts of cattle are in progress without hurdles. There should be provision to rear cattle after identifying the plot reserved for the purpose. Cattles were stolen from a house in Elajit. The family should be compensated and stringent action should be taken against cattle thieves,” urged the protesters.
