Mangaluru: Rain flatters to deceive - Disappears after a brief spell

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (SP)

Mangaluru, Jun 28: The rain this time has been playing spoilsport since the last some days. The Karnataka coast is experiencing sunny weather most of the day with rain making brief appearances thrice or four times in between at will. Experts say that the shortfall of rain so far has been around 50 percent. It is alarming to find that rivers and rivulets which were expected to be in spate at this time of the year are experiencing normal flow.

The rainfall during the period from June 1 to 25 this time has been the lowest during the last six years. Water level in River Netravati this time is 3 meters as compared to 5.2 meters on this day last year. Paddy cultivation has suffered as farmers are finding hard to raise seedlings. Agricultural fields located at higher altitudes away from sources of water, which are called as 'Bettugadde' here, may go uncultivated if the situation continues like this.

During the 24-hour period ended 8.30 am on Thursday, most of the places in the state's coast and some places in the interior Karnataka received rain. Kundapur got eight cm rainfall, which was the highest in the state. On an average, the coast experienced five to seven cm of rainfall.

Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre scientist, Sunil Gavaskar, noted that monsoon continues to be weak during this month and the situation is expected to improve during the first week of July when monsoon is likely to gain momentum.

Stop construction and this in turn will stop people from buying houses. Population is the main cause of water scarcity.

This divide and rule policy is not fitting well with God. Please plant more trees to cool the atmosphere and attract more rain. Otherwise Mangalore will become like Rajasthan.

No Providence from God ?? Need to pray more Rosaries!

MESSAGE GIVEN BY OUR LADY TO WILLIAM COSTELLIA IN HIS HOME ON 13 JUNE 2019
    MESSAGE NO. 787...

"Have you not noticed in many countries that the rain has stopped – or at least reduced – where water will become scarce, but it will be through prayer and sacrifices that you will be given the necessary water and food, because many countries will die of starvation.”

“Have you not read the Book of Revelation, My sweet children, where great catastrophes and disasters are to occur and enslavement. Punishment will come to the world because mankind have [has] placed aside My Divine Son Who is their only Salvation and Joy and Peace.”

“Pray, My dear children and once again I offer you My Holy Rosary so that the children will acknowledge that this prayer is the most important prayer for the Church – for mankind.

*Climate change or loss of magnetism...??*

Thursday, December 13, 2018: (St. Lucy)...

Jesus said: “My people, you have researched the cause of this warming trend. It is your polar shifts with a decrease in the strength of the magnetism of your magnetosphere, that is allowing more heat from the sun to warm the earth. This is contrary to your carbon dioxide theories which do not correlate. This warming trend is heating up your oceans and it is causing more severe hurricanes and tornadoes. It is also melting your polar ice caps. Pray that this loss of magnetism will return to normal, or this polar shift will get worse.”...

We will feel the heat of severe water scarcity early next year as our lethargic officials, as usual, will not take concrete steps to avert the disaster?

Digging borewells is only temporary solution, which will aggravate the situation further in coming years!

The total rainfall for our area was very much below normal for the entirety of last year and there was much rationing of water. Hopefully the citizens of Mangalore and our elected officials and industries will plan for likely future shortages, and conserve water use. Mangalore receives nearly 3,600 mm of rain annually, much more than most areas of our country. Let's practice conservation.

Do any concrete steps taken with what ever rain received by arranging storage facility for rest of months. First try to do the same how to preserve rain water...without wasting and reserve subsequently.
