Kundapur: Car hits two brothers - One dead, another seriously injured

Kundapur, Jun 27: In an unfortunate incident, a Maruti Eeco car lost control and veered to the side of the road hitting two brothers from Karkada, Saligrama, walking on the side of the road, killing one of them on the spot. The incident took place on Thursday, June 27.

The incident happened on Saligrama highway 66 in Kota police station limits. The deceased is identified as Chandra (46). His brother Narayana (50), who was seriously injured, has been admitted to a private hospital in Udupi.

The absence of service road here is said to be reason for the accident.

    How death occur nobody predict. Brothers are walking safely on there way. Still death occured. Whom to blame. What happened is not good. Two family lost there earning member..one is gravely injured.

    Who is responsible for this ghasty accident ? Yesterday I watched CCTV footage of the accident circulating in WhatsApp !
    It looks lack of safety sign on Road is the main reason . District admi n should be prosecuted
