High alert in Karnataka as terror suspect arrested

Bengaluru, Jun 27 (IANS): A high alert has been sounded across Karnataka following the arrest of a suspected terrorist -- a Bangladeshi national -- by the NIA in the state's Doddaballapura town, officials said on Thursday.

Speaking to the media, Karnataka Home Minister M.B. Patil said the suspect is allegedly linked to a terror organisation.

Doddaballapura is around 600 km away from the state capital.

"I had a meeting with the CID officials and as a precautionary measure a high-alert has been sounded across Karnataka," the Minister said.

Refusing to speak on the recovery of two live-bombs allegedly thrown out by the suspected terrorist in Ramanagara town on Wednesday, he said: "Since it comes under the jurisdiction of the National Investigation Agency (NIA), I have nothing to say on the incident but only extend all co-operation."

Many migrant workers from state like West Bengal, UP Bihar and Assam settled in this belt.
Even though its mandatory to register Aadhar Card in nearby Police station, several illegal workers arise and work on daily wages basis without the knowledge of concerned authorities.

We can see new new faces in our neighbourhood also .

Therefore distict administration should conduct frequent raids and checkpoints should be placed in different Nakha's to identify the culprits .

If terror suspect is from majority then he becomes MP in Parliament
If terror suspect is from minority then after 10 years you know he was falsely accused.

Whenever we talk about terrorist or terrorism, some people bring the religion in between & indirectly support them. That is the reason these terrorist able to hide between us. It is known factor that there are some sleeper cells helping these people for accommodation & some other facility. But I am sure that one day the same people will hit back. Please note that there is no religion for bombs & during explosion it wont ask your religion. It will kill every nearby people. So we should mature enough to deicide which right & wrong.

forget about India what about other countries like France, England.....

my logic is simple, don't support any terrorist based on his religion. he is against humanity & any religion. in such a case how come we bring the religion inbetween to support them.

Once again the common factor in such acts has sprung its ugly head. Any where in the world they come seeking asylum, plead for citizenship, suck the welfare systems dry, reap the max benifits from the host country. And then? This is how they repay. Not surprised. Kerala is a haven for bangalis. The hotel menu, bus boards, all have parallel mention in Bengali.

He could be a Bangladeshi, or a Rohingya.

Many Rohingyas receive training in Pakistan, and are settled in Kashmir.
