New Delhi, Jun 26: The Lok Sabha, on Tuesday, June 25, witnessed exchange of heated words between two first time and young MPs from Karnataka, Tejasvi Surya and Prajwal Revanna. The fluent expression of opinions in lucid language by many young leaders at the Lok Sabha also drew appreciation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Tejasvi Surya, who represents Bengaluru (south) Lok Sabha constituency, and Prajwal, who has been elected on JD(S) ticket from Hassan, not only gave enough evidence of their oratory skills but also tried to drag each other’s feet.
Narendra Modi, when moving motion of thanks on President's address, appreciated the first time MPs.

MP Prajwal Revanna raised the issue of water problem faced by Karnataka and farmer woes. He insisted that this problem should be tackled apolitically. He also referred to farmer suicides, and explained problems faced by agriculturists of Mandya district on water front.
Tejasvi Surya raised the topic of the IMA scam running into thousands of crores of rupees which was recently unearthed in Karnataka. He said that over ten thousand first information reports have been registered against the IMA kingpin and thousands have been cheated. He also termed the current government in Karnataka as the most corrupt.
Prajwal, who chose to hit back at Tejasvi, said that a special investigation team has been formed to investigate this scam and that the investigation is moving on right direction. He felt that Tejasvi Surya, his fellow parliamentarian, was not right in misleading the Lok Sabha. He called upon the leaders to find a lasting solution to water woes and farmer issues faced by Karnataka instead of indulging in dirty politics by alleging that the state government has been corrupt.
