Speaking on the occasion, Dr B A Vivek Rai, Manasa Gangotri State Open University, Mysore, said that conducting the study on Agoli Manjanna, Koti Chennayya and Koraga Thaniya must not be restricted to just the castes to which they belonged, but it is necessary to highlight their great personalities.
Chelaruguttu, where historical person Agoli Manjanna grew up, must be developed as a tourism spot. There have been many great personalities from Tulunadu, about them we find nothing in written format. Research should be conducted on these forgotten heroes, he felt.
