Panaji, June 10: The monsoon session of Goa Legislative Assembly would be held between July 15-August 09, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said on Monday.
State cabinet which met on Monday approved the summoning of monsoon session between July 15 to August 09, which would be the first ever full fledged assembly session under new government led by Sawant.
He said that the session will see tabling and passing of various bills and also discussion on the financial statement tabled by former chief minister Manohar Parrikar in February.
Parrikar, who was then ailing when he presented the financial statement, had not presented the full budget.
Sawant said that the Business Advisory Committee led by Speaker Rajesh Patnekar will discuss detailed business for the session.
