Udupi: Native of City, Engineer Prajwaldeep Hegde (27) Loses Life in Accident

Udupi, May 5: Prajwaldeep Hegde (27), a software engineer and native of the city, lost his life in an accident that occurred recently near Vellore on Bangalore-Pondicherry road.

Hegde, son of T Ganapati Hegde, retired Vijaya Bank officer and president of  BJP Shiribeedu regional committee and Kojakuli Vinoda G Hegde, Vijaya Bank Korangrapady branch manager, was going to Pondicherry along with four others, lost his life after the car in which he was traveling, collided with a bus. Alwyn D'Souza, Nitesh Shetty and Shreesha Adiga, all from the coastal districts, who were with him at the time of the accident, are being treated in Bangalore.

Minister Dr V S Acharya, MLA K Raghupati Bhat and others have condoled Hegde's death.

    A very very sad incident. Nature is cruel to Hegde couples. Before the bud could blossom and give out its fragrance, death in its cruelty has taken away the young life. May the departed soul rest in peace and May God give the parents enough patience and courage to bear this loss. I can feel the parents sentiments and feelings. They must have been going through hardest moments of their lives.
