Mumbai, Jun 3: The annual programme of distributing stationery to school children of economically weaker sections of society was held by Konkani Catholic Association Nallasofara at its office at Nallasofara east on June 2.
KCA president Harry B Cutinho who presided over the programme distributed stationery to hundreds of children. He said that the evolution of children will be possible when they indulge in extracurricular activities along with academics and wished them success.
KCA has been holding the annual programme for several years. It distributed uniforms, notebooks, school fees, items for extra curricular activities and helped the parents of children.
Vice president Gracy Pinto, executive committee members Ronald Pais, Lilly Qadros and others were present on the dais. Treasurer Alwyn Francis D’Souza Mudarangadi welcomed the gathering and compered the programme. Richard Pinto rendered the vote of thanks.
