Mumbai, Apr 27: Christian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) had organized a seminar on 'How to Create Leadership Greatness' on Friday April 17, 2009 at Hotel Atithi at 7.30pm. Its vice-chairman John D’Silva welcomed the gathering and introduced the speaker. CCCI chairman Vincent Mathias presented a floral bouquet to Rajan Kaicker, executive chairman (India) of the internationally renowned organization, Franklin Covey and the speaker for the evening.

Rajan Kaicker kick-started the seminar with a visual presentation on leadership and highlighted various ingredients in a chronological order, which go into the making of a good leader.  The thoughts and actions of every individual are influenced by the self, comprising of body, mind, heart and spirit, he explained.  Be it in business or in a family, the most vital element which serves as a binding force is 'trust', without which even an age-old  relationship can get snapped within no time. This also holds good both in the cases of  small work force and  a bigger work force, in achieving optimum efficiency and productivity.  The video on the noble laureate Dr Mohammed Yunus, founder of Grameen Bank in Bangladesh, was shown to the participants to prove the point that no one is useless. This happened to be the hallmark of the seminar. 

A fairly good attendance of members interacted vibrantly with the speaker and highly appreciated the seminar for its contents and delivery.  The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by   S K Swamy.
