Dubai, May 29: The city heaved a collective sigh of relief on Monday night as a major fire that broke out at under construction building in Watsanh area was controlled in two hours, with minimum loss to property. Significantly, no one was hurt in the accident.
The Civil Defence confirmed there were no injuries in the incident.
Dubai Civil Defence operation room received an alert about the blaze around 11:11pm. The fire brigades, which managed to put out the douse, started the cooling operation at 1am.
At the same time, the Dubai Civil Defence also put out a fire on an oil tanker on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road. No injuries were reported during both the incidents.
