Mumbai: Saphalya Seva Sangha holds sports competitions

Mumbai, May 27: Saphalya Seva Sangha held sports competitions for the year at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Sports Ground, Kandivali west on May 26. Senior member of the sangha, Keshava B Putran inaugurated the competitions. Vice president Krishna Kumar Bangera set them in motion.

The sports festival was chaired by vice president Krishna Kumar Bangera. National sports champion, team India throwball team trainer Deepak Vasudev Kotian, Saphalya athletes Shanker Safaliga, Ashuthosh Safalya, sports festival sponsors Mallika Sadananda Safaliga, ladies wing joint treasurer Damayanti Salian, vice president Vimala Bangera, secretary Kala Bangera and others were present.

Cricket and volleyball competitions were held for men, throwball and box cricket for women and other games were held for the young and the elderly. A lucky draw was held after bird gift in the end.



Ashwini Safaliga and Kavita Bangera sang a prayer song. Honorary chief secretary Anusooya Kellaputhige welcomed the gathering. Prathibha Safaliga presented an introduction and introduced the guests. Nisha Kellaputhige compered the programme. Honorary treasurer Bhasker Safaliga rendered the vote of thanks.
