Mumbai: Couple injured as part of ceiling collapses

Mumbai, May 25: Two people sustained injuries when portion of the roof of a flat on the first floor of Ramabai colony residential society collapsed and fell on them on Saturday.

The injured have been identified as Laxmi (57) and Shivaji Kute (60) and the couple were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment and the doctors declared their condition as stable.

The reason for the collapse of ceiling is yet to be ascertained.
