Mumbai, Apr 24: A young girl died after she fell from a swing in a garden in Palghar. It is understood the 12-year-old girl, a resident of Navali, was playing in the municipal garden along with her younger brother when it toppled over on Monday morning.
The Palghar police said to TOI that Ravina, while enjoying herself on the swing, lost her balance and fell. She got up after the fall and walked back home with her brother but collapsed later. The brother panicked and informed the neighbours, but she stopped breathing by the time they took her to a public health centre.
The doctors said she had suffered severe injuries in the chest due to the fall. Her body has been sent for an autopsy and a case of accidental death has been registered, according to TOI.
