Mangaluru: Tulu film ‘Golmal’ releases at fourteen theaters

Mangaluru, Apr 20: The release function Tulu film ‘Golmal’ produced under the banner of Mahakali Mahamantra Creations by Manjunath Nayak Karkal and Akshay Prabhu was held at Jyothi theater in the city. The film is directed by Ramanand Nayak.

Katpadi Mattu Mahakali temple trustee Sudharma Sriyan lighted the lamp and inaugurated the programme. He said that Tulu films should reflect our culture and practices. “May films with good messages for society be produced in Tulu that make the language grow,” he said.

Tulu film directors Devadas Kapikad, Vijayakumar Kodialbail, film producers Kishore D Shetty, Prakash Pandeshwar, R Dhanaraj, Vijaya Kumar Karkal, Megina Maladi Balakrishna Shetty, journalist Jagannath Shetty Bala, Dr Sadananda Perla, V G Pal, Gangadhar Shetty Alake, Sudhaker Kudrolli, Chetan Mundadi, Mohan Koppala, Prem Shetty Suratkal, Golmal film producers Manjunath Nayak, Akshay Prabhu, director Ramanand Nayak, actors Pruthvi Ambar, Shreya Anchan, Nireeksha Shetty, Aravind Bolar, Sunil Nelligudde, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Sunad Gautham, Sandeep Shetty Manibettu, Roopesh Shetty and others were present. Vinayak compered the programme.

Golmal film is released in Jyothi, PVR, Big Cinemas and Cinepolis in Mangaluru, Kalpana in Udupi, Inox and Big Cinemas in Manipal, Nataraj in Sirathkal, Amarashree in Moodbidri, Radhika and Planet in Karkal, Aruna in Puttur, Bharath in Belthangadi and Santhosh in Sullia.

Naveen D Padil, Aravind Bolar, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Sunil Nelligudde, Sundara Rai Mandara, Sathish Bandale, Prathvi Amber, Shreya Anchan and Saikumar are main artistes in the film. The songs of the film produced in big budget have already become a hit.
