Mumbai, Mar 18: Mumbai University Kannada department on March 16 released a book by Kannada student Surekha Hariprasad Shetty on ambassador of Tulu Kannadigas, M D Shetty in a programme at J P Nayak auditorium, Santacruz east.

Retired police commissioner of Brahanmumbai, Rony H Mendonca inaugurated the programme and gave the keynote address.

M D Shetty said that social concern and service orientation brought him to Mumbai. “The appreciation in the programme has increased my life span by another four to five years,” he said.
