Dubai, Mar 11: The music team ‘Al Jalila Vocal Lab’ won the first place in the Middle East's best choir of the year 2019. Over 70 choir groups from Middle Easten countries took part in the competition at Dubai Opera House.
Al Jalila children's cultural center is named after Sheikah Jalila, the youngest daughter of H H Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the vice president and prime minister of the United Arab Emirates, and ruler of the Emirate of Dubai.
Beulah Ruth Pinto is the first and the only Indian to be a part of Al Jalila children's cultural organisation. Beulah Ruth Pinto won the Best of the Best 2018 UAE, United Arab Emirates best child singer award on December 9, 2018. On September 21, 2018 Beulah Pinto bagged the UAE’s second most talented child award in ‘Burjuman’s Rising Stars, a talent contest hosted by Burjuman Centre, Dubai, UAE. She was the lead singer for the community song at the Eve of UAE Peace Gathering at Abu Dhabi which was a part of Pope Francis visit to UAE, where royal families and dignitaries around the world were present and an audience of thousands gathered.
Al Jalila Vocal Lab sung two English and one original Arabic piece. Arabic song was composed by Feras Rada. Jonathan Ramgopal and Tala Tuniji put the performance together.
