Kuwait, Mar 4: Get-togthers are one of the best recreational means to refresh and it is a great way of complete entertainment and those who live away from each other can have a great reunion. Tulu Koota Kuwait (TKK), an association which believe in unity through language with an aim to bring all the Tulu speaking people together as one family hosts various events every year. Outdoor family picnic is one among them, which is much awaited by all the members of the association. ‘Family Get-together 2019’ being scheduled on March 15 at Mishref Garden from 9:00 am onwards.
This year, for the family get-together, the special guest and invitee will be Ekalavya Award Winner, International Kabaddi Player, Pro Kabaddi Player, South Asian Games Gold Winner, National Game Bronze Medal Winner – 2015 and Karnataka Kabaddi team captain Sukesh Hegde.
So, it is a great opportunity for all the Tulunadu people and Kabaddi team players to meet him and play under his presence and guidance.
TKK has assured that there will be something for everyone at this picnic, fun filled day with awe-inspiring games for all, accompanied with Tulunadu traditional sport that marks the center of attraction. Entry is free for all the members of the association and all valid members can participate and compete in the games their age category and win lot of prizes.
Unique individual games and regular team games such as Kabaddi, Volleyball and Throwball has been planned. All the members of the TKK join as one family and the whole day will be remembered as ‘Jaathre’ festival of Tulunadu.
All the games will start by 10:30. Prior registration of teams is a must for Kabaddi and Volleyball, Throwball and Tug-of-War. Registrations are open for limited time and will close shortly.
