Hassan, Feb 21: PWD minister, H D Revanna, said that his party has demanded that not less than 12 seats have to be allocated by the Congress for his party for the Lok Sabha election in the state. He asserted that if Congress party does not agree for this, his party is ready to go all alone.
"Our hope is that our party will enter into electoral alliance with the Congress for the Lok Sabha election. At the same time, our party will fight it out even if it is faced with the need to face triangular contest," he clarified.
Speaking here on Wednesday February 20, Revanna said that he believes that a final decision on sharing of seats would be arrived at after All India Congress Committee president, Rahul Gandhi, and JD(S) president, H D Deve Gowda, hold talks, and that there will not be any scope for confusions or misunderstanding.
