UAE official praises Saudi king's role in regional stability

Jeddah, Feb 20 (Arab News): The speaker of the UAE’s Federal National Council, Dr. Amal Al-Qubaisi, praised King Salman and the strength of the relationship between the two nations during a visit to the UAE by Dr. Abdullah Al-Asheikh, her counterpart at the Saudi Shoura Council.

Al-Qubaisi said that the king’s service is not only to his own people, but to all Gulf Cooperation Council countries.

She applauded the ties between Riyadh and the UAE, as well as the establishment of the Saudi-UAE Coordination Council to cement bilateral cooperation between the two Gulf states.

Al-Asheikh also met with Lt. Gen. Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, the UAE’s deputy prime minister, for talks on Saudi-UAE cooperation.
