Sumalatha Ambareesh offers to donate land to family of martyred Guru

Daijiworld Media Network – Bengaluru (EP)

Bengaluru, Feb 16: Veteran actress Sumalatha has offered to donate half acre land to the family of martyred CRPF soldier Guru in memory of her late husband, rebel star Ambareesh.

“The sacrifices of heroic warriors keep us alive and make us feel secure. We are not able to digest that a soldier from our hometown Arsikere, Mandya has been martyred. It was extremely painful to see the parents of Guru speak. I do not know what to say. We are unable to repay for his sacrifice and service. What we give is not even 1% of what they have given us,” she said.

“We are donating land for our satisfaction. If Ambareesh was alive now, he too would have done the same. I have assumed that the soul of Ambareesh will get solace with this act. Abhishek and I are in Malaysia at present. We will visit the residence of the soldier on our return and try to console them,” she said.

“We should take courage before asking them to be courageous. This is the time to do something for the country by setting aside politics. We are unable to compensate for their pain. But we can share their grief. My intention is that we should help them as much as we can. If they construct a memorial, I have decided to donate half acre land in the name of Ambareesh and Abhishek,” she said.

But this act of kindness will completely become null and void if she decides to contest the upcoming LS elections.
Ambarish was 'daanashoora', he had helped thousands of people financially. But he never ever called the press to elaborate about it.

Wonderful gesture indeed. A true patriot. Our soldiers will not hesitate to fight when they know their families will be cared for. May I suggest that she form a trust and the land be used to construct a building with charitable donations so that more of the martyred soldiers families can be accommodated there.

No need to do this. Our future generations will do it to, if status quo continues. Donate when it servers us well for gaining political capital. Sumalatha should infact challenge the GOI and Kumaranna that she will offer if these people cannot. We pay taxes through our noses for what?

India needs to drastically change its stance towards Kashmir and Pakistan as a whole. Time is ripe. Several generations paid taxes to contain Pakistan. It is time that this medieval strategy of cutting India with thousand cuts needs to be answered with a single blow. Negotiation only about one point. Obliteration of Pakistan or not?

Chaddiless people have no brains and they don't read other news paper beside one and only Daiji world. Kumar anna offered rs 25 lakhs and Siddivinayak temple will contribute rs 51 lakhs. Now more funds will pour. You should respect Mrs Ambareesh great wish.
